Cyclops meets Cyclops
It was my great pleasure today to meet Mr. Peter Cunio, the turn-around CEO and Vice Chairman of Marvel Entertainment. Mr. Cunio 'resurrected' Marvel from bankruptcy in 1999. Today, Marvel is an incredibly successful entertainment company. (Spiderman, X-men and of course you must go see Iron Man).
I had a chance to talk about our common bond. Of course Cyclops was one of the Marvel comics X-Men dating back to 1963. Mr. Cunio was also gracious enough to have this picture taken.
For you Marketing folks out there who want to learn from a real marketing "Super Hero", read this article at Harvard Business School or just Google "Peter Cunio Marvel".
On the premise that it never hurts to ask, I requested that if Marvel ever does a Cyclops movie, our Cyclops would be happy to do the sound track ;-)
